iScripts EasyCreate Website Builder Script

Prelude

Please read every step of the relevant instructions before undertaking the first step. It is always a good idea to backup your data before performing any sort of changes to your server/files. 

System Requirements

The iScripts EasyCreate 3.2 is developed in PHP and the database is MySQL. Since the software uses a considerably large number of GD library (A PHP add-on library used for image manipulation) functions, it requires your version of PHP compiled with the GD library extension.

Following are the requirement for iScripts EasyCreate:

1. PHP > 5.x.x with GD support. (You can get the latest PHP version at https://www.php.net).

2. MySQL > 3.x.x

3. Curl Support (For using Authorize.net, Link Point payment gateway)

Other Requirements for Trouble-free Installation/Compatibility are: 

a) GD complied with your PHP Build - (Yes).

b) SendMail - (Yes).

c) PHP safe mode - (OFF).

d) PHP open_basedir - (OFF).

e) CURL extension - (Yes).

f) DOMXML extension - (Yes).

Overview iScripts EasyCreate

To Create a personal website or business website you can use this online website building tool. Just install it on your server. The EasyCreate script is customizable. You can set logo, brand information, marketing related messeges, product offers, support links and many more that suits your business.

Once the initial phase is completed, you can offer online website building services to customers. iScripts EasyCreate helps to create professional websites quickly and easily accessible to users. The drag and drop functionality helps users to create their website within minutes.

Users don't require any HTML skills. But an expert user can generate a precise look and feel. Users can modify web pages using a wide array of tools. Users can also optimize their website for search engines using the built-in promotion tools. 

Installation 

Here are the steps to install iScripts EasyCreate in your server. 

3.1) Unzip the entire contents from EasyCreate.zip. Upload the contents to the desired location in your server using an FTP client. You can also use CoreFTP or FTPzilla instead of an FTP client. 

The browser-accessible folder is often listed as public_html in hosting companies. All files should be uploaded to this location.  For example http://www.yoursitename.com/public_html/easycreate

If no folder is required for public browser view, Install to the root level or folder of your choice

3.2) Set 'Write' permission to the following folders (Set folder permission as 777)

a) The folder to which you have extracted your files to. 

b) workarea

c) workarea/sites

d) sites

e) uploads

f) uploads/siteimages

g) uploads/siteimages/banners

h) uploads/themes

i) uploads/thumb

j) templates

k) samplelogos

l) categoryicons

m) includes/install_config.php

n) includes/configsettings.php

    0) systemgallery

p) usergallery

 

3.3) Provide ‘Write’ permission for the following file (Set file permission as 777)

a) includes/configsettings.php 

3.4) Run the link http://www.yoursitename.com/install in your browser and follow the given below instructions.

Upload files in the root, and access the iScripts EasyCreate installation wizard at http://www.yoursitename.com. You can install the script in any directory under the root.

If you have uploaded the zip file in a directory then you can access iScripts EasyCreate http://www.yoursitename.com/easycreate. 

Fill the installation form:

Database server hostname: Name will be ‘localhost’ in most cases. In some cases, you can contact your service provider for the database server hostname. 

License Key: The license key you received at the time of purchase is the same you have to enter in the field of ‘License Key’. The script will function only for the domain it is licensed. You will get an email with the subject ‘iScripts.com Software Download Link’ with the license key. If you cannot recall the key then you can get it from the user panel at iscripts.com. 

Database name, Database Username & Database password: Create a database from your Cpanel/database manager and create a database user with full access to iScripts EasyCreate. 

Site Name:  iScripts EasyCreate grabs your domain name automatically as the site name. If you want a different name, you can edit another name.

Admin Email: Provide the email id of the site owner.

 

After completing the installation form, Click Install Now.

 

The settings values are described as below:

 

a) Site Name : This is the name of your site.

b) Admin Password : The default admin name is 'admin' and it is not changeable. This field sets the administrator password. Choose a password which is hard to guess.

c) Admin Email : The administrator's email address

d) Site building mode : Paid/Free.

e) Enable Paypal : Decide whether to enable Paypal.

f) Paypal Email Address : Paypal Login ID.

g) Paypal Identity Token : Identity Token issued from Paypal.

h) Google Checkout : Decide whether to enable Google checkout.

i) Google Checkout ID : Google Merchant ID.

j) Google Checkout Key : Google Merchant Key.

k) Payment Gateway : Decide which payment gateway needed.

l) No of days temporary sites should be maintained : The sites created by users are stored as files in the web server. This value sets the number of days these temporary files will be kept in the web server. Higher this value, the more space you must reserve for your users.  

m) Site price : The charge in dollars for publishing a site.

n) Authorize.net Account Transaction Key : Your https://www.authorize.net transaction key for payment gateway

o) Authorize.net Account Login Id : Your https://www.authorize.net Login Id for payment gateway.

p) Publish Option : Site publishing options for users.

q) Default Root directory for FTP Uploads : The default root directory which will be used as the default value on site FTP upload by users.

r) Logo : Your site logo.

 

3.5) Once you click ‘Install Now’, iScripts EasyCreate configures the database and script as per user specification. After the successful installation, you can view the following: 

Home URL: http://www.yoursitename.com

Admin URL: http://www.yoursitename.com/admin

Admin Credentials:

Username - ‘admin’

Password - ‘admin’

Note: Make sure you change the admin password as soon as the installation procedure is complete. 

 

3.6) It is strongly recommended to remove the 'Write' permission provided to the file 'includes/configsettings.php' for security reasons . Also make sure that you delete 'install' folder once installation is complete
